We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, which signifies the believer's death, burial, and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord.

We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Church History
CNI English Congregation, Andheri was formed in the year 2000 when a few strong believers from linguistic Churches in Mumbai got together and decided that there is a need to begin an English Service in the suburbs. Rev Keith Pasgon, who was newly ordained a priest then, had left his secular job in an advertisement agency and followed his calling to serve the Lord in the CNI Diocese of Mumbai.

Rev Keith Pasgon, along with Mr. P K Zachariah (late), Mr. K M Joseph, Mr. Sathyanesan, Mr. George John, Mr. Amalendu Nundy (late) and a few others along with their families began the worship service in YWCA hall in Andheri West. There were around 30 members who used to attend Sunday service and over the last 20 years has grown to more than 80+ members.

The Church was registered as a Trust with the name, CNI English Congregation Trust, Andheri on 23rd July 2009 with the Charity Commissioner, Mumbai. The foremost aim and objective of the Church was to propagate the Gospel and to serve the community, especially the underprivileged. We have been able to assist many believers in villages in Palghar and Wada districts, to build churches and also conduct medical camps regularly in these districts, led by Dr. Usha Ubale (Ex- Chief Medical officer, BMC).

We are a mission oriented and an interceding Church. Prayer with action is our belief and virtue.
